It has really been a wonderful transition as she’s been able to integrate more of her studies into her career while staying in an environment that she loves! In fact Erika’s interest in senior care was sparked at a young age, as her mother is one of our long-time, beloved Care Associates! Melodie Misaikone

She grew up with her grandparents and was very involved in their daily lives, from garden work with her grandpa to cooking and cleaning with her grandma. Melodie initially joined the Regency Grand Team back in 2013 as a dining room server. She attended Mt. San Antonio College at the time and was juggling her studies with work. SAC, she transferred to Azusa Pacific University, achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Melodie has been with the Regency family since she was 18 and has worked her way up from a dining room server, to concierge, to Life Enrichment

Morgan Jones

Memory Care Director – Morgan joined our team in 2020. She received her nursing degree from Northwest College and got into nursing because of her personal medical history. The kindness and compassion she experienced from the nurses caring for her and those around her had a huge impact on her. This sparked her passion for nursing and knew that’s what she wanted to become. She believes nurses see you at your worse and do everything in their power to help you get better and could not think of a more rewarding career to have. She developed a special love of working with memory care residents when she was a Wellness Nurse as a memory care community as her first nursing job. She took a brief hiatus from memory care to be a Case Manager at a home health agency where she gained more knowledge and experience that has since helped further develop her nursing skills. She sought to get back to memory care because she missed the interactions and relationships she built with the residents and their families. As our Memory Care Director, Morgan oversees the planning, staffing and managing the care needs of all the residents in our memory care neighborhood, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. In her free time she loves spending time with my family and baking.
