What is the “Continuum of Care” at Regency Grand?

Regency Grand believes in providing the best care to our residents as their needs and health dictate. Ensuring residents can enjoy the full potential of their lives drives our commitment to thoughtful and nurturing care. Residents of our Independent Living are ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives while retaining the autonomy and independence they’ve always known. With apartment-style accommodations, our Independent Living provides the perfect transition to senior community living.

For those needing a bit more hands-on care and attention, Regency Grand also offers Assisted Living, where a plan of care will be developed and tailored to meet our residents specific needs, offering an ideal solution. Here, seniors can live comfortably and securely knowing they have 24-hour access to the highly trained, compassionate and respectful professionals on our personal care team.

Our Memory Care neighborhood helps those struggling with Alzheimer’s disease and various forms of dementia. In this comfortable and caring environment, residents make real connections and enjoy activities that bring joy, purpose and passion to their lives.

Whether a loved one needs more intensive care for a short period of time, or a caregiver needs a break, our Respite Care program delivers comfort and relief to everyone involved. Regency Grand’s Respite Care option provides understanding, support and peace of mind.

How do we figure out the right type of care?

Our Health Services Director works in conjunction with you and your Primary Care Physician as well as any loved ones that are involved in healthcare decision making. All of the information, concerns and needs are taken into account and used to determine the right setting and services. The Regency Grand Health Services team puts together a comprehensive plan of care prior to each new resident moving in.

Do you have a nurse onsite?

Yes, in addition to 24-hour staffing of our highly trained resident aids and medication technicians, we also have at least one of our four wonderful nurses here during business hours seven days a week.

Does Regency Grand Accept Medicare?

Medicare health insurance is a federally funded program that does not cover many Independent and Assisted Living communities. It can cover some Assisted Living health services. Contact our Community Relations Director to walk you through the program step-by-step and help you determine your eligibility.

When we make the choice to move into Regency Grand, what can we expect?

When you have made a decision on which apartment at Regency Grand you’d like to call home, our Community Relations Director will collect the one-time Community Fee to hold your preferred apartment.

After having your Primary Care Physician completes a California State Physician’s Report (provided by our Community Relations Director), our Health Services Director will meet with you and conduct a health care assessment and provide you with a tailored plan of care.

Following that, our Community Services Director will meet with you one-on-one to sign our Residency Agreement, officially making you a member of the Regency Grand family!

Will we get help settling in?

Upon arrival all new residents are provided complimentary escorts to meals and activities for the first two weeks with us! This will help you learn your way around the community and get acquainted with residents and staff alike. Also, within 72 hours of moving to Regency Grand, our Activity Director will introduce themselves and be your guide to living the Grand Life! They will also connect you with our Resident Ambassadors! These are a wonderful group of current residents who take the newbies under their wing, whether it’s showing you the ropes at a specific activity/outing or chatting over coffee.

After your first two weeks with us we will set up a formal meeting with our management team, you and anyone assisting in health care planning. We want to see how everything is going and make sure you are adjusting. This gives us the opportunity to make any changes to the initial plan of care created after your assessment and to see how else we can meet your needs once you have gotten a feel for the community!
